These Terms & Conditions govern your use of feedingwithbritt.com (the "Site") and your booking of services with us. By using the Site or booking a visit, you agree to these Terms.
Who We Are
Feeding With Britt is a concierge, in-home infant feeding, lactation, and newborn care practice operated by Brittany Peralta Infant Feeding Specialist, LLC — a registered nurse (RN) and International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) — serving Covington, the Northshore, and select New Orleans, Louisiana neighborhoods.
Services
We provide in-home clinical lactation and infant feeding consultations and related care as described on our Services pages. Package inclusions, visit counts, and pricing are listed on the Site and may be updated; the terms in effect when you book apply to your service.
This Site is for general information only. Nothing on it creates a provider-client relationship or should be treated as personalized medical advice for your specific situation. A provider-client relationship begins only once you've booked and completed intake for a visit.
No outcome is guaranteed. Every family and feeding situation is different. While we bring 15 years of nursing experience and IBCLC training to every visit, we cannot promise a specific feeding, breastfeeding, or pumping outcome.
Booking, Payment & Cancellation
Package fees are due per the payment terms presented at booking. Some packages offer a two-installment option, as specified for that package; all others are due in full at booking.
All packages and fees are nonrefundable. Unused visits carry no cash value and cannot be exchanged, credited, or refunded.
We ask for at least 24 hours' notice to cancel or reschedule a visit.
If using our insurance-covered concierge pathway, your specific coverage is confirmed before your first visit, and the terms of that pathway are explained to you directly before you book.
Superbills are provided for completed clinical visit portions only, for possible insurance reimbursement. We do not guarantee reimbursement by your insurer.
Scope of Care
We provide RN- and IBCLC-level clinical lactation and feeding assessment and support. Some concerns identified during a visit may require referral to another provider (pediatrician, physician, dentist, bodywork specialist); we'll tell you when that's the case. We are not a substitute for emergency medical care — if you believe you or your baby is experiencing a medical emergency, contact your physician or emergency services immediately.
Communication
If you become a client, you may be offered secure messaging (currently through Spruce) as part of your package's continuous-access window. Use of secure messaging, text, email, and phone communication with our practice is governed by a separate Electronic Communication Consent provided at intake.
Intellectual Property
All content on this Site — text, page copy, graphics, and images — is owned by Feeding With Britt or used with permission, and may not be copied or reused without our written consent.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Feeding With Britt and its owner are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of this Site or our services, beyond the fees you paid for the specific service in question.
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Louisiana, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms; the effective date above reflects the most recent revision.
